Mary Cox

Mary Cox is a Tawas City fiber and fabric artist. She has been creating with a needle and thread since she was a little girl making doll clothes and later her own garments. Her post high school education started at MSU with a BS in clothing and textiles; she then completed a Master's degree from Goddard College in Vermont entitled:  An Ecological History of American Textiles. Mary has been creating petit point pieces for 50 years. Color is an important feature in all of her works which are primarily abstract and all original designs.
