Colleen
Sheffer

Colleen Sheffer is a Michigan artist who specializes in acrylic painting on canvas, glass, slate, metal and wood.  She has been professionally painting since 2013. Her mentorship was under Peggy Trabalka.  Colleen’s creative talents date back over 60 years when she was making porcelain dolls, sewing and creating stain glass pieces.

Today, Colleen enjoys painting scenes from nature including landscapes, seascapes, animals, barns, and flowers at her studio/shop, Bellissima, located in Tawas City, Michigan.  Her canvas paintings are often accompanied with a custom wooden frame built by her husband, Elwood Sheffer.

Colleen loves to paint commissioned pieces such as your fur baby(ies), family homes and favorite scenery.
